Hi, I’m Emelie—your bookish designer! I believe an author’s brand should carry the same magic, meaning, and creativity as the stories they write.

Before I was a designer, I was always a reader—the kind of kid who lined up for midnight book releases, filled notebooks with ideas, and was happy to spend hours tucked away in a library or bookshop. And really, none of that has changed; my love of stories still shapes me, and it’s what inspires the work I do today.

I founded Embermake to help businesses build their strategic brand identity. As an extension of that work, I am dedicated to supporting authors in shaping their personal brands so they feel just as intentional and compelling as the stories they write. With an extensive background in brand identity and web design, I’ve seen how the right visuals can elevate careers, encourage deeper audience connections, and create opportunities through focused exposure and engagement.
